Mr. Tuk Tuk

Hello Peeps.. Is been a long time I didn't update at here. Yes, it's a busy year for me, other than my study are getting tough, there are some changes at my workplace too, have to put extra effort on it. So these two things makes me really busy and no time blog.

Back to the topic, I used to shopping at Sunway Pyramid, every time I passed by this restaurant - Mr. Tuk Tuk, I saw  its crowded and line up most of the time, I'm really wonder why, so check out their menu and found that the price is quite cheap. This is how it attracted me to try it.

On last Wednesday, we went to Sunway Pyramid to buy something, after done shopping we decided to dinner at there so we went to check out Mr. Tuk Tuk if no need to line up then we give a try.
Oh yeah, it's less people and table is available, so doesn't need to hesitate this will be our dinner place.

Mr. Tuk Tuk Sunway Pyramid was newly open on last year and as I said earlier it always crowded.
The price range is from MYR8.80 - 23.80, which is quite cheap (you can't find this price at some #atas food court). See Menu

This round we ordered one fried kangkung, one chicken tom yam, one omelette with onion, two white rice and two thai jasmine tea.

The chicken tom yum (MYR8.80)
It consider a big bowl of soup, the portion can fit up to 3 person, taste super sour and not too spicy and it's not creamy type, if 5 star are maximum i would rate 2.5 star. The meat and vege can be more generous. ^^
Rating : **½

Omelette with Onion (MYR9.80)
Fried egg taste good but abit pricey just few pieces of onion and scallion then charge you 9.80 if not mistaken some of the Thai Restaurant are charging 12 bucks but serve with prawn and sotong.
Rating : ***½

Fried KangKung (MYR9.80)
The kangkung leave coated the batter and deep fried it, crispy and taste good, MUST dip with the sauce on the left. Not every Thai restaurant serve this dish so this is the attraction for me. =D
Rating : ***½

Thai Jasmine Tea (MYR2.50 each)
Ermmm... It's just taste like our "Xiong Pin" (exactly the same, nothing special)

Lastly I would comment that their staff are not too friendly and the dish serving sequent need to be improved because after they served our rice and 1st dish is the tom yum soup they actually took about 10 mins to serve another dish which is the omelette and take another 10 mins to serve the fried kangkung, i think this really need to be improved.

Sukishi Japanese Sukiyaki Buffet, located at Puchong, 3rd floor of IOI Mall.  It's same company group with Suki-Ya (located at Pavilion and Paradigm Mall).  Thanks for Ryan Lee point out, i double check the website again, seem like there are different management. More or less they are same concept, buffet style sukiyaki. The only different is Suk i-Ya is pork free restaurant, but Sukishi do served pork. So if you looking for Pork Free sukiyaki please head over to Suki-Ya .
