Recently is quite busy, non stop OT. As my  bestie have on long leave, thus, I have to back up her workload, so didn't frequently update my blog. So sorry. A quick review of today's Yummilicious. Canton I, a Hong Kong style restaurant. Famous dishes like roast duck, variety roast pork, Wantan Mee. It's second brand under Dragon I Group. The branches located at The Gardens Mall, One Utama, Sunway Pyramid, Queensbay Mall, Johor Bahru City Square and etc. I have visited them plenty of times, since my workplace is located at Mid Valley. But they really make me disappointed. Their service extremely got problem . I went to The Garden Malls branch on Nin Sap Em with few of my colleague . Upon we arrived. Captain: How many of you ? We: 6 pax Captain: Have to wait woh , cause it's full house now.  So we standing there wait for our table. The Han Room under The Oriental Group and located at The Gardens Mall, it same management with Noble Masion . This year our company's "Hoi Gong" lunch was held at there.  I have been there several times, but never have a chance to blog about it, finally the chance has arrived now.  It's been awarded by Malaysia Tatler on 2012 - Malaysia Best Restaurant. Our Order List Chinese New Year Gourmet Set - MYR1 , 388  1st dish served of course is Yee Sang, on top the slices is abalone and geoduck clam. 2nd dishes is double boiled soup with Sharkfin, dried scallop, Wolfberries, Brazil Mushroom and etc. The clear soup is sweet enough. My personal comment is actually can take out the sharkfins ,  i don't think the sharkfins  will increase the taste of soup.  2nd dish - Crispy Suckling Piglet. Respect for privacy, so i have pasted up cute picart . We usually name this small little restaurant as Leng Lui Korean Cuisine. This is because previously the boss were here, the boss is a Korean also a L eng  L ui . Now  she  maybe base at others outlet already. Here come this nickname "Leng Lui Korean Cuisine" Changed new menu. In mid valley city if you notice that restaurant changed new menu equal to the price increased. This is what I observed. Back to last Thursday, it was Selangor Sultan Birthday, thus Selangorian entitled for a day off. Mr SW who just back from Japan, his workplace is at Selangor, so he got a day off. He wants to pass us the souvenirs from Japan, so he meets us for lunch as well. Holiday Session + State Holiday = Terrible Jam in Mid Valley Not only traffic jam, it effected our lunch. Every reasonable price's restaurant is long Q, is impossible for us to Q up and wait for the table, cause we only have an hour for lunch. We force to eat expensive lunch. We chose Hokkaido, cause we were nearby there. Fancy food doesn't need to Q up, just walk in like a boss, pay like a boss.  The set lunch menu. I was shilly-shally that time. Don't know want to order a  set  lunch or ala carte meal. That's me, a typical Libra Girl. Today, my colleague went Nana's Green Tea with her sister. This reminded me that I visited here before. I checked back my old photos and I did capture some photos during my last visit. So I decided to blog about it now. We have been here for Ms E's birthday celebration on April'14. It was a new opening restaurant that time, and Ms E decided to give a try on it. So this why we have been here. Nana's Green Tea was established in Japan, a pioneer of Japanese Cafe dealing with "Matcha" (green powdered tea). There are more than 60 branches have opened in Japan.  Now the 1st Nana's Green Tea Cafe landed in Malaysia, 1st shop was opened at The Gardens Mall.  * Sourced from hokangtao.com Sorry about I didn't take the photos of the menu. Ippudo The Gardens Mall branch opened at the end of 2013. If not mistaken, it has replaced the shop name Spice of India. I have been there for few times, the 1st impression was very very bad.  Last year we planned to have a company lunch at this restaurant, there were 15+ of us. To avoid waiting or Q- ing , we called for reservations, but they don't allow us to make any single reservation.  Alright, fine then. Our backup plan was a few of us arrive the restaurant earlier, so we could get the table 1st. But they don't give us the table unless all of us have arrived the restaurant. So my colleague argued with them, but they  still insist  on this suck policy.  I'm not sure why they are insisting that "all patrons must arrived" rule.  I felt it didn't make sense at all. Will you ever tell your boss that pleases Q in front the shop? If you're this kind of organizer, you are a failed one ever. Another time was they put us (about 12-15  pax ) ...

Italiannies, common Italian restaurant in KL Town. I guess most of you guys will know this restaurant. I'm not going to introduce more.  Last Thursday, my colleague treat me for lunch as my birthday celebration, so they ask me to pick anything i want to eat. So I pick those restaurant that we usually won't visit during lunch time and must have lunch set promotion, Cause I will feel bad if need my colleague pay much on the bills. So only Tony Romas and Italiannies are fulfill above two conditions. Last year I have choose western, so this year go Italian. Before I make decision, I checked again on their website, they do have lunch promotion. Story began here...  When we reached the restaurant, the waitress lead us to our seat. After we sat down. Me : Do you have lunch menu? Lady A : sorry we do not have lunch menu. Lunch promotion only have Prawn & Romano Crusted Chicken Linguine Set, MYR27.90++, come with a soup of the day or salad. Me : What?!...

As you work place at Mid Valley, you always can see renovation, and then new faces borned. KGB are new at mid valley, just opened few months ago. But usually I won't have western food or fast food as my weekdays lunch, cause most of my colleagues not prefer. But I want tried it badly so I told my boyfie when he asked what to eat during our dinner time. (　^ω^) It's order at counter concept, fill a table 1st before you order.
