Our 1st decision is to try the Japanese Restaurant in Lexis Hibiscus, but when we reached there found that it's not start business yet, so 2nd option still stick to dinner at hotel, we both lazy to drive out, so dinner time we walked out to Roselle Coffee House to find out the menu. Actually Roselle Coffee House only have temporary menu for dinner time and the price they charging is consider high (for me). Like MYR43 bucks for a plate of carbonara (tax wasn't include yet). So in the end we still drive out for dinner, cause we both think that not that worth.
Weng Yin Seafood Village, is the nearest restaurant from Lexis Hibuscus. It is located opposite of Thistle Hotel. I tried this restaurant once before during company offsite meeting. So I know that they are charging a reasonable price and food quality is ok as well.
I was not really satisfied with the service. What make me comment like this? Because they served the big tables patrons 1st. We arrived 1st, but they took the order for the patrons arrived late than us 1st, although we have call the waitress for many times to take our order.
Our Order List
1 x Chinese Tea (Heong Pin)
1 x Fried Xu Miu (potato leave)
1 x Garlic Prawn
1 x Shiong Tong LaLa
2 x Rice
Shiong Tong La La. The soup is chicken stock soup added some onion leave and ginger boiled with La La. Some of the La La still container with sand, freshness of the La La was ok only.
Stir Fried Garlic Prawn. The prawns is fresh and the sauce tasted good, it's a little bit sweet. Worth for the price.
Stir fried Xu Miu aka Potato Leaves. Wok Hei enough but didn't over cook the vegetable.
