Teo Chew Restaurant, 潮州粥家

I remember that when I was young, my parent brought me here for dinner / supper. After come back from the Doubletree Hotel, I falled sick. At first Zerm brought me to KL town thought want to try Song Kee porridge, but when we arrived the porridge was sold out. :(
So here we are here. "Sun Fu" Zerm's friend who follow our car, he thought got nice porridge, end up have to eat the not preferred type of porridge.
It's an old restaurant in KL Town. Maybe existed since 80's? 



Our Order List
3 x Porridge
1 x Salted Veggie
1 x Fried Long Bean
1 x stewed pork
1 x stewed taufu pok
1 x can fish with black bean
1 x Watercress soup

 It look like zap fan but the difference is they served alot dishes that can eat with porridge like salted vege, peanut. Price range is from MYR1 - MYR10 like that. Boiled soup is MYR6.50, damaged report for this time is about MYR30+

HoHo Steamboat Restaurant, 好好海鮮火鍋之家

After Hi-Tea with my girls, we headed to Sri Petaling meet Zerm's bro for dinner. The venue was selected by Wong aka WongDaiLei. Today's Yummilicious  featuring his selection ya . If you recalled, I did blog about Ho Kee Steamboat , you probably think are they're sister company? Bec ause the name look alike, and also same  from Pulau Ketam. At 1st I also thought they were  sister company. But after doing some research, I found that it's not. The style is similar with Ho Kee, they only have clear soup, no others selection. When we arrived, they have made the order.  The Menu Our Order List 4 x Set Dishes 1 x Otak Otak 1 x Fried BeanCurd 1 x Oyster Mushroom 1 x Sliced Pork Meat 1 x Signature QQ Taufu 1 x Meat Ball with Minced Pork 1 x Chinese Tea 1 x Warm Water Chilies sauces is really good taste. Low Maji Steamboat 老媽子冬瓜盅火鍋

Is yummilicious time again. We gave a try on this interesting steamboat on two weeks ago. It's suggested by Wong and we have no idea of our dinner on that day, so we joined them for dinner. Low Maji are from Cantonese and it's mean Mom. When we arrived is the most common dinner time - 8PM, the restaurant is full, we have to Q up and wait for an empty table.  After half an hour wait, finally we got the table. Luckily, there is a family not managed to wait so we got the table faster. The waitress passes the menu to us. The menu is simple and clear. You either choose a set or ala carte. Got this clear version on my second visit. The price for ala carte add on for steamboat is  from   MYR1.50 onwards.  I felt the price are reasonable price.
