The Han Room, 漢城酒家

The Han Room under The Oriental Group and located at The Gardens Mall, it same management with Noble Masion. This year our company's "Hoi Gong" lunch was held at there. I have been there several times, but never have a chance to blog about it, finally the chance has arrived now.

It's been awarded by Malaysia Tatler on 2012 - Malaysia Best Restaurant.

Our Order List
Chinese New Year Gourmet Set - MYR1,388

1st dish served of course is Yee Sang, on top the slices is abalone and geoduck clam.

2nd dishes is double boiled soup with Sharkfin, dried scallop, Wolfberries, Brazil Mushroom and etc. The clear soup is sweet enough. My personal comment is actually can take out the sharkfinsi don't think the sharkfins will increase the taste of soup.

2nd dish - Crispy Suckling Piglet. This dish is better than last year one, becuase it's served without glutinous rice.

Braised 9 head whole abalone with japanese mushroom, imperial toufu and brocolli. The sauce taste good, the abalone is cooked well.

Poached tiger prawn cooked with "Shao Hsing" wine and wolfberries.  I think this is the best dish among the set menu. The prawn is fresh and the soup is the essence of the dish.

Wax meat rice. Ermmm... No comment in this dish.

And last, dessert. Right: Double boiled Fuji apple with snow jelly, gingko, fresh lily and red date. Left: Japanese Peanut Mochi and deep fried sesame ball.
