Cafe Lafayette

Cafe Lafayette, an authentic Italian cuisine cafe located at the happening Damansara Uptown, opened since Oct 2014. this cafe perched on the 1st floor of street shop, you may need to look up when you find it.

Comfort and cozy environment is a great place for gathering or dating because it's not too hustle.
The beautiful name Lafayette was inspired from a branded outlet mall at Europe, the boss bring the symbolic images across the europe continent, because they wish patrons feel the sense of tour across European contingent.

Girls favorite corner, the cake bar, bottom the fridge you can #LAFAYETTEMY, so don't forget to hastag during your visit.

From Italian to Western can be found on the menu. The Boss Jake likes diversification, variety of fusion recipe with reasonable price. I added Jake as friend on FB, he is always experimenting new menu. So do drop by their shop, maybe you will find special menu on that day. Oh ya, friendly reminder, cash term only.

Irish Cream, MYR10

Obvious layer, the white color top is chilled cream foam, bottom is hot coffee. Tips to drink this special cup is sip the cream foam 1st then continue with the coffee. Most important part : MUST finish it within 5 minutes ya! 

I followed the step given by Jake. 1st sip tasted very creamy, smooth foam, followed by the hot coffee by the time they mixed together in my mouth, bittersweet, the cream foam actually enhanced the coffee taste. That taste really fantastic and complicated just like the relationship with a boy during flirting level. #YukiRecommended
ps: I tried to left some and drink it after 5 minutes, really taste different, the taste turn sour.

Elderflower Juice, MYR9

The name is direct translate from mandarin. In this glass not only taste the flower but also fruit taste, chilled and refreshing, really suitable Malaysia hot weather.

3D Art Coffee is available. Meow~ Am I cute? Do you want to order me too?

Ermm... I'm not sure is this latte, but I think it's. Because the 3D art coffee and this latte was ordered by others foodinker I just borrow for photograph. =P

Mushroom Risotto, MYR15.90

Organic button mushroom, oyster mushroom, onion, cream, and rice cooked in high fire just like stir fried "Hokkian Mee"  method to cook this risotto. Creamy, smooth, "wok hei" enough,  rice coated by cream perfectly, surprisingly the creamy and mushroomy nuetralize each other, PERFECT! Won't feel too creamy or too mushroomlicious. #YukiRecommended

Orttagio Risotto, MYR15.90

This new product, yet put on the menu. =) Red pepper bell, carrot, brocolli, onion cooked with cream and rice, same cooking method, this is more sweet if compare to mushroom. I still prefer Mushroom one.

Chicken Marryland, MYR17.90

I also cannot find this dish on the menu, so do ask the waitress if you are looking for miracle. Deep fried marinated chicken meat coated with breadcrumbs served with mashed potatoes, salad and brown sauce. the chicken chop is crispy, crunchy outer, juicy inner.

Retromarcia Cordon Bleu Fish, MYR26.90

Deep fried fresh fish fillet wrapped with turkey ham and mushroom and baked with cheese, served with Lafayette house sauce and salad. Look at that generous cheese and salad, eat salad also full.

Retromarcia Cordon Bleu Chicken, MYR24.90

Also wrapped with turkey ham and mushroom baked with cheese in the end, the different is the inner changed grill chicken. That gorgeous cheese melted over the wrapped. Cut it, you can see the perfect layer, lafayette house sauce is incredible, I can't stop eating this. #YukiRecommended 

Grill Salmon with Pesto Sauce, MYR27.90

The Italian classic sauce cooked with blended sweet basil leave, on top of the sauce is grill fresh salmon. From the beautiul grilled stripe, can see it cooked nicely, juicy meat dipped with the sauce, taste not too bad.

Balsamic Mushroom Beef, MYR24.90

This is new product also, look like we have tried alot dishes that not in menu.
Although I don't take beef, but this look very nice and most of the foodinker said it's awesome.

Fried Mozarella, MYR12.90

Deep fried bread coated with breadcrumbs inner filled with mozarella cheese. Look at the cheese, do you feel like want to taste a bite? The bread's texture got bit similar like "Man Tau", what we usually have in chinese restaurant.

Chocolate Lava Cake

Moist chocolate cake filled with rich chocolate that flows from the center. An eruption of luscious chocolate dessert.
