Frontera Sol Of Mexico

Is friday loh~ Time fly, last week this time I was exciting about Kushi Raku food review organised by food-inker. Have you read it? If not faster click on above link to find out.

Another food test on last weekend. Frontera Sol Of Mexico, an authentic Mexican & Tex-Mex cuisine, located at Jaya One, Petaling Jaya.

This is my 2nd visit, 1st visit was couples year ago, which I'm not a food blogger yet.
2nd visit is because of friend birthday celebration, we order a lot foods but I failed to take all the photo because we got a long table, 1st very hard to walk around to take photo.
2nd I'm with a bunch of T-Rex, when the foods served, they will put it into mouth very fast, you don't even have enough time to catch a photo.
Of course I can ask them hold a while let me have a photo section 1st but I'm shy to do so lah.

The outlook, look exactly like few years back, no changes. Outlook doesn't matter, inner are more important. LoLz..

Timeout Magazine said they served the BEST margarita in KL Town, don't forget to order a Horny Margarita when you visit. Happy Hours for Sunday is all day long! Food Menu is here.

Clear, spacious dining area, floor are clean. That is our long table for 13. You can wear the Sombrero is you want. =)

Maple Glazed Salmon, MYR37.50
Flame grilled salmon fillet cooked perfection and basted with maple chipotle glaze. It served with Mexican rice & veggies, but we changed it to mash potato.
Salmon fan - Mr Zerm said this salmon is very nice, cooked perfection, but the rice were not nice and mash potato so-so only. I tried one bite the mash potato, if your like silky smooth type then this is not suitable for you, it smash with skin and more grain, very creamy, I like it.

Seafood Skewers, MYR39.50
Skewers of salmon, prawn, mushroom, bell pepper and onion with Mexican rice and veggie.
I don't like rice =X I request to change to fries =P
The skewer is super nice, I never expect it. Very chacoalicious, prawn and salmon are very fresh, bouncy. If eat like this without rice is bit salty, so I think the rice is for you to balance up the taste. Fries are old school fries and the pickled tomotoes are yummy too, i prefer white sour sauce compare to the green salsa sauce. This skewer is entitled for #YukiRecommended.

Sukishi Japanese Sukiyaki Buffet, IOI Mall Puchong

Sukishi Japanese Sukiyaki Buffet, located at Puchong, 3rd floor of IOI Mall.  It's same company group with Suki-Ya (located at Pavilion and Paradigm Mall).  Thanks for Ryan Lee point out, i double check the website again, seem like there are different management. More or less they are same concept, buffet style sukiyaki. The only different is Suk i-Ya is pork free restaurant, but Sukishi do served pork. So if you looking for Pork Free sukiyaki please head over to Suki-Ya . Sukiyaki, is a Japanese dish that prepared and served in the nabemono (Japanese hot pot) style, it consists of of meat which is slowly cooked or simmered at the table, alongside vegetables and others ingredient in a shallow iron pot in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar and mirin . Low Maji Steamboat 老媽子冬瓜盅火鍋

Is yummilicious time again. We gave a try on this interesting steamboat on two weeks ago. It's suggested by Wong and we have no idea of our dinner on that day, so we joined them for dinner. Low Maji are from Cantonese and it's mean Mom. When we arrived is the most common dinner time - 8PM, the restaurant is full, we have to Q up and wait for an empty table.  After half an hour wait, finally we got the table. Luckily, there is a family not managed to wait so we got the table faster. The waitress passes the menu to us. The menu is simple and clear. You either choose a set or ala carte. Got this clear version on my second visit. The price for ala carte add on for steamboat is  from   MYR1.50 onwards.  I felt the price are reasonable price. Our order list: 1st visit 1 set winter melon steamboat 1 set value meal Ala carte add on: Pork slice, dumpling, fish ball ,  foo   chok ,  asparagus, oyster mushroom,    water...
