Kong Sai Zai Restaurant, 廣西仔菜園雞豬肚湯

Last weekend was Winter Solstices Festival (冬至). As usual, we will have dinner at home with our family. This year, Zerm's house a bit special, we have dinner out instead of home cook.

The 1st tried of this restaurant was a year ago. But the same condition as other, few years  back, I didn't have time to manage my blog, so now work very hard to update it as much as I can.

Their signature dishes are Village Chicken (菜園雞) and Pepper Pork Stomach Soup (豬肚湯).

Our Order List
1 x Village Chicken
1 x Pepper Pork Stomach Soup
1 x Kong Sai Tau Fu Pok
1 x Steam Beanspourt
1 x Crystal Kang Kung

I think a restaurant should always serve the soup 1st.
Hot and spicy pepper soup base served with Pork, Pork's stomach and slices of mushroom.

Kong Sai Tau Fu Pok. I guess KongSai people like this dish.
Tau Fuk Pok stuffed with minced pork and veggies.

The boss told us that this is Crystal KangKung. But I named it as Giant KangKung.
You thought the veggie grew that big size must be old and not nice? Then you are wrong.
This giant Kang Kung is crystal crispy. But I still prefer normal size KangKung.

The signature served. Steam chicken is one of my favorite dishes, I know that a lot of people are prefer roasted chicken. But Steam chicken is nice too, especially if it's silky smooth Chicken meat. Yum Yum.
Oh ya, some good news to share, if you need a steam chicken for God praying, Kong Sai Zai do provide this service. But make sure you need to tell them the purpose, because chicken for God Praying must serve with head and leg.

Chicken Rice MUST have side dishes - Steam Bean sprout. Or you can order stir fried bean sprout with salted fish.

Last one, onion oil rice. Or you can order normal white rice.
