Restaurant Yut Kee, 鎰記中西菜館

After the charity, our next stop, we headed to Yut Kee, the old shop with famous babi guling aka roasted pork. I always heard of its name, but never have a chance to try it.

An old famous shop selling hainamese cuisine and always nominated "Best Cheap Food" by TimeOut KL. Previously it located at Jalan Dang Wangi, now relocated to Jalan Kamuting. (just one row behind of the old shop)

The new shop looks very classic, very old school feel. When we arrived that time was around 2PM.

Our Order List
4 x Hainan Chicken Chop
1 x Roti Babi
2 x Kaya Butter Toast
3 x Cham
1 x Teh

I usually don't take hainan style chicken chop, because I don't really like fried thing dripping in soup. Since they are specialist so must give them a try. It tastes really good and worth to eat. It only cost you MYR9.50. Zerm told me that pork chop is nicer than chicken.

Next is Roti Babi. Juicy shredded pork stuffed in bread, the bread drip with egg. Never eat this before, I felt it taste ok only.
Kaya Butter Toas.  Traditional toasted bread served with chilled butter and kaya. The kaya is really special, it's not silky smooth, u still can see the coconut shredded.

The kaya roll and butter cake. Jia and Adeline bought it. But my stomach is full, can't fill in anymore,  so only can try them on next time. Butter Cake: MYR16 (Box), Kaya Roll: MYR10 (Box)

The famous rolled pork was sold out when we arrived, if you wish to eat it must be early, rolled pork are selling from 11AM onward.
