Restoran Damansara Uptown Hokkien Mee, 上城福建面

Recently I've eaten outside meal quite frequently, cause Zerm always got OT late.

What to eat? This is the hardest question ever for me. Always have to think about it during lunch time and recently need to think about it for dinner time.

It's 10PM+ on a weekday night, all the shopping malls are closed. Most of the cafes are having last called. What to eat at Puchong at this hour, so we drove to Puchong Jaya to see what shop is still open. Then we found this, Damansara Uptown Hokkien Mee.

We have tried before with WongKL and recalled that is not bad for the Hokkien Mee, so we just parked our car and have our dinner here.

It's 80% full, we got 3 empty tables to choose. There is 2 empty tables are close to shop, we walked there thought to sit there, but while we stand there, we smell some garbage smell at the 1st table, so to walk to 2nd table and found that also got the same smell.
So we have to sit beside roadside that table. Actually, it's quite dangerous, if you are bringing kids please let them sit inside, because the road is straight and wide enough so the car will drive very fast.

One page menu, clear cut enough? 8 Main course and 4 snacks to choose. And beverage you can choose herbal tea, fruit juice or can drinks (100 plus/coke).

Our Order List
1 x Hokkien Mee
1 x Cantonese Fried Yee Mee
1 x 100 Plus

Sambal is a must for Hokkien Mee. It's a nice flavor sambal, doesn't have too much belacan (shrimp paste).

Hokkien Mee. It's black enough, and not watery. The soul of the Hokkien Mee is pork fried lard. Pork fried lard and dark soya sauce is a must for Hokkien Mee. Otherwise, it can't call Hokkien Mee, it only can be Gon Lou Mee. XD

The kitchen got wrong the order. Zerm ordered Cantonese Fried Yee Mee, but they serve him Cantonese fried Hor Fun, we request for exchange cause is not what we want. But the worker keeps on pursuing us to take it. Until we call his boss come, then only he willing to change for us. Actually, I'm quite worried they add on something on our order.
Cantonese Fried Yee Mee doesn't taste good as Hokkien Mee. Only taste about salty, the gravy is watery.
